Meetings Page Text

The Shire hosts weekly fighter practices where our warriors come together to practice their skills. Both the heavy-armored warriors (who wear full armor and fight with rattan weapons) and rapier fighters spar each week. These practices are a good way to prep for tournaments and melees, which happen throughout the year in various parts of the Kingdom and Known World.

Fighter practice

Our weekly meetings also serve as a good time for non-fighters to gather, work on medieval projects, plan for events, take or teach classes, socialize, and mainly have fun! When the weather is fair we meet at the Orem City Center Park Bandstand in Orem, and our current winter site is Jolie Arts Dance Center in American Fork.

Fighter practices for the Shire are held on Wednesday nights, 7-9 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to attend!
